London Fashion Week Overview

< Back to highlights

The importance of London Fashion Week as the showcase for the Industry and its place on the fashion calendar has strengthened greatly in recent years.

From building the venue, to designing the lighting, seating and picking the colour of the walls, our Studio team produced the British Fashion Council’s flagship show space for London Fashion Week. To design a space that has both a strong aesthetic but also provides an inspiring and flexible backdrop for a broad range of designer’s sets, is a challenge. For the third successive season at Brewer Street Car Park in Soho, the team hosted fourteen catwalk shows over four days including David Koma, Eudon Choi, Ryan Lo and Ashley Williams.

Once the Show Space is built and ready, running the venue includes everything from designing the set for some and supporting others in realising their own concept; to managing the comfort and smooth running of the backstage hair, make-up and dressing areas; generally keeping things running and welcoming 600 or more guests to each show.

Concurrent with this, we also researched the perfect show venues to suit the collections for designers including Mother of Pearl, Osman and Toga, for whom we have produced shows for a number of seasons.
