Bacchus turns consumer insight into brand strategy by starting with the values and priorities that drive consumer sentiment, then using what we learn to set positioning, messaging, and a corporate framework. Our strategy, advisory, brand messaging, market and consumer insight, and corporate framework services run as one connected body of work, so creative and communications carry the same logic.
What does market and consumer insight mean at Bacchus?
At Bacchus, market and consumer insight is the research and analysis that identifies the values and priorities driving consumer sentiment around a brand. We run it before positioning is set. The findings shape strategy, brand messaging, and every creative or communications decision that follows.
Our approach is built on that understanding. For over 25 years, Bacchus has built brands at the intersection of culture and commerce, and the insight work is where the culture side gets read properly. A brand's own view of itself is one input. What its audience values, and what they expect from the category, is the other.
Consumer sentiment shifts by market. We work from London, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha, so an insight read for a launch in Dubai draws on people who work in that market, and a New York brief draws on the team there.
How do strategy, advisory, and brand messaging build on insight?
Strategy sets the brand's direction from the insight. Advisory guides decisions across strategy, communications, and brand growth. Brand messaging turns both into the language a brand uses publicly. Together they give creative and communications teams one reference point instead of separate briefs.
Here is what each service does at Bacchus:
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Market + consumer insight | Identifies the values and priorities that drive consumer sentiment |
| Strategy | Builds transformative ideas rooted in culture and fuelled by insight |
| Advisory | Guides decisions across strategy, communications, and brand growth |
| Brand messaging | Defines brand presence and sharpens how the brand communicates |
| Corporate framework | Defines and structures brand and corporate positioning |
We use strategy to optimise creative, cultural, and commercial impact together. That last part matters to us. Our work balances brand building with tangible commercial uplift, so a strategy has to explain how attention turns into results for the client.
If you're weighing a strategy engagement against an advisory one, our post on brand strategy vs brand advisory sets out the difference in detail. The full service list sits on our what we do page.
How does insight carry through into creative and communications?
Insight carries into creative and communications because the same team that reads the audience also builds the identity, content, and campaigns. The strategy and messaging become the brief for brand identity, website, campaigns, content, and partnerships, and then for communications, media experiences, and live event production.
That continuity is the practical benefit of working with one agency across the full range of services:
- Create: brand identity, website, campaigns, content, and partnerships are built on the positioning agreed in the Define work.
- Activate: strategic communications, media experiences, live event production, the Brand Experience Framework, and Community Engagement put that positioning in front of audiences.
- Amplify: reach comes through VIP + VIC = UHNW engagement, talent acquisition, digital and social strategy, KOL and influencer engagement, and commercialisation.
Each stage refers back to the same insight. When a campaign idea comes up, the question is whether it reflects what the audience values, and the strategy gives a clear answer.
What does this look like on a real project?
On a real project, the insight shows up in what a brand chooses to say and where. In 2026, we handled communications for the reopening of The Ickworth Hotel in Suffolk after a full transformation by Studio Jill. The Grade I listed Italianate house sits within 1,800 acres of National Trust parkland, just under two hours from London.
The story had plenty of material: all 37 bedrooms redesigned, a reimagined Elemis spa, refreshed dining across Frederick's and The Conservatory, and family spaces. The communications task was to decide which of those details mattered most to the people most likely to visit, and to lead with them. The hotel is the fifth and final full refurbishment within the Luxury Family Hotels collection.
You can see more projects across travel and hospitality, real estate and design, wellness and longevity, fashion, food and drink, beauty, automotive, yachting and aviation, tech, corporate, and live events on our work page.
When should a brand start with insight?
A brand should start with insight before it commits budget to identity, campaigns, or a launch. Positioning set early guides every later decision, and insight is what makes that positioning specific to the audience.
Launches of hotels and residential developments are a clear example. Our post on hotel launch marketing in Dubai covers how the agency selection and early planning fit together, and our guide to choosing a luxury hospitality marketing agency in the GCC covers the regional side.
Brands also start with insight when they reposition, enter a new market, or find that their messaging no longer matches how audiences talk about them. The corporate framework service gives those brands a defined structure for brand and corporate positioning, so teams across markets work from the same reference.
